Born 27 June 1947, Yerevan.

1969 - graduated from Yerevan Polytechnic Institute.

1969-1992 - engineer, programmer, head of department in a number of research institutes.

2000-2001 - RA Government, head of the Control Service of RA Prime Minister.

2001 – RA State Customs Committee, deputy head of Ararat regional customs service.

2005 - awarded with "Gregin Nzhdeh" medal of RA Ministry of Defense.

1966 - member of the United National Party.

9 June1992 - member of the Republican Party of Armenia.

October 1992, February 1993, December 1993, 20 December1997 (RPA 4th Congress), 30 January 1999 (RPA 5th Congress), 9 June 2001 (RPA 6th Congress), 12 July 2003 (RPA 8th Congress), 17 December 2005 (RPA 9th Congress), 22 July 2006 (RPA 10th Congress), 10 November 2007 (RPA 11th Congress) - elected a member of RPA Council.

28 November 2009 (RPA 12th Congress) - member of RPA Council.

Married, has two children.
