Born in 1964, in Yerevan.
1988 - Graduated form the Department of Agronomy of the Armenian Agricultural Institute.
2000 - Defended PhD thesis. Candidate of Agricultural Sciences.
2001 - Awarded an academic degree of Associate Professor and a diploma by the Supreme Certification Commission of the Republic of Armenia.
1981-1982 - Worker at the Scientific-restoration Studio of the RA Historical and Cultural Heritage.
1982-1983 - Operator at Yerevan Computer R&D Institute.
1988-1995 – Senior laboratory assistant, later scientific worker at the Chair of Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry of the Armenian Agricultural Academy.
1994-1998 – Deputy Head of the Department of Science of the Armenian Agricultural Academy, at the same time- Head of the Department of Postgraduate Studies.
Since 1996 – Associate professor of the Chair of Plant Growing Product Processing Technology, as well as of the Chair of Plant Cultivation and Vegetable-growing of the Armenian National Agrarian University.
Since 1998 – Head of the Department of Master Studies of the Armenian National Agrarian University.
Since 2002- Coordinator of the Agribusiness International Teaching Center of Texas A&M University and Armenian National Agrarian University.
2002-2011 – Expert of the Standing Committee on Education and Science of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia.
Since 2001 – Member of the Republican Party of Armenia.
Since 2002 – Member of Women’s Committee of the RPA Kentron territorial organization.
2012-2013 –Chairwoman of the above mentioned Committee.
Since 2013 – Member of the RPA Women’s Council.

2010- Awarded Gold Medal on the occasion of SAUA 80th anniversary.
