BADEYAN Manvel

Born on June 29, 1957 in Kamo (Gavar.)

1979 - Graduated from the Yerevan Institute of National Economy. Economist and mathematician.

1979 - Scientific associate in the Scientific Research Institute of Economics and Planning under the Armenia SSR State Plan.

1980 - 1981 - Served in the Soviet Army.

1981 - Economist in the Yerevan Lighting Plant.

1982 - 1984 - Post-graduate studies at the Yerevan Institute of National Economy.

1984 - 1992 - Senior professor at the Yerevan Institute of Animal Husbandry and Treatment.

1992 - 1995 - Head of division and later Deputy Director in the Institute of Management and Economic Reforms under the RA Government.

1995 - 1999 - Founder - Director of the company “Eurostan Ouyut.”

1999 - 2003 - Deputy of the National Assembly (proportional system, “Unity” alliance.) Vice Chair of the Standing Committee on Financial - Credit, Budgetary and Economic Affairs of the National Assembly. Member of the “Unity” faction.

2003 - 2007 - Deputy in the National Assembly (proportional system, RPA.) Vice Chair of the Standing Committee on Foreign Relations of the National Assembly.

2007 - 2012 - Deputy of the National Assembly (proportional system, RPA.) Vice Chair of the Standing Committee on European Integration of the National Assembly.

May 6, 2012 - Elected as a Deputy of the National Assembly from electoral district # 22.

From 2012 to present - Vice Chair of the Standing Committee on Health Care, Maternity and Childhood.

Mr. Badeyan is married with four children.
