At the Four-Day Sittings of the National Assembly

On March 20 the RA National Assembly continued the work of the next four-day sittings.

The NA deputies debated the bill “Disciplinary Rules of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia” submitted for the second reading, which the RA Deputy Defense Minister Ara Nazaryan presented.

Then the deputies by voting passed the package of bills “On Amending the RA Law on Examination of the Influence on Environment” and “On Amending the RA Law on State Duty, which was returned to the National Assembly by the RA President’s rejection, as well as ratified four agreements.

The package of bills “On Amending the RA Law on the RA Citizen’s Passport,” “On Amending the RA Electoral Code,” “On Amending the Identification Cards,” the package of bills proposing “On Amending the Code on RA Administrative Infringements,” and package of bills proposing amendments in a number of laws, the bills “On Advertisement,” “On Amending the RA Civil Procedure Code” and “On Amending the RA Law on Passing into Military Service” and “Disciplinary Rules of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia” were passed by voting.

The NA deputies debated the package of bills “On Debts Caused by Property Tax and Land Tax,” “On Amending the RA Law on Taxes” and “On Amending the RA Law on Property Tax.” Then the parliament debated the bills “On Amending the RA Law on Taxes,” “On Amending the RA Law on Licensing” and “On Amending the RA Law on Inventions, Useful Models and Industrial Species” submitted for the second reading.

Ara Petrosyan, RA Deputy Minister of Economy, presented in the second reading the bill “On Amending the RA Law on the Control Towards the Export of Goods of Double Importance, Their Transit Transportation through the Territory of the Republic of Armenia, as well as Information of Double Importance and Transfer of Results of Mental Activity.”

The parliament debated another agreement concerning borderline troops of the Russian Federation being in the RA territory.

The bills “On Amending the RA Law on Geographical Names,” “On Amending the RA Law on Geodesy and Mapping,” “On Amending the RA Law on Advertisement,” “On Amending the RA Law on Human Reproduction Health and Reproduction Rights” were debated in the second reading and for completely passing them, the bills for the third reading “On Libraries and Library Work” submitted by the Government and the NA deputies, “Disciplinary Rules of the RA Armed Forces” submitted by the Government.

Haykaram Mkhitaryan, RA Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations, presented for debate two agreements.

Armen Alaverdyan, First Deputy of the State Revenue Committee adjunct to RA Government, presented an agreement for debate in the parliament.

The last hour of the sittings, in accordance with the “NA Rules of Procedure,” was allotted to the deputies’ announcements.
