 Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan visited the municipal greenhouse of Yerevan where the head of the Nature Protection Department presented the 34 units of new machinery imported from the USA.The machinery includes mini tractors, vacuum leaf collecting truck trailers,branch chopping tools and so on which make the landscaping process and green area treatment maximally efficient.150 mowers and 10 units of tree injection machines were imported for "Green Yerevan" program of 2012. This equipment will increase the efficiency of "Green Yerevan" program implementation a number of times."All these activities are carried out within the framework of “Green Yerevan” program and I assure that the results of the activities being implemented by this program will shortly be visible. This year is the first time we have got half of the flowers being planted in Yerevan due to our own efforts, in the greenhouse", said Taron Margaryan.The Mayor walked about the greenhouse: 600000 flower saplings are being grown here, which are the first party and within 10 following days the saplings will be replaced to lawns.This year about 1 million 800 thousand flowers are to be planted in the green areas of the capital, including parks, pavement lawns. So the volumes of flowering have been tripled in comparison with the previous year.
