Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan had a working meeting with the employees of the Department of Control of Yerevan Municipality. The report on the work done in 2015 was made and the Mayor presented his comments.
«The Department of Control is the link which must be consistent in the activities in various spheres of urban economy, carried out within our powers. One of your primary tasks is to reveal defects. Be attentive and inform the persons in charge about the defects so that they could eliminate them in time. We should be the first to reveal and correct our own defects and not to wait till someone does it instead of us», stressed the Mayor.
Expressing satisfaction with the results of permanent control over the quality and storing conditions of food products in kindergartens Taron Margaryan instructed to control the quality of food delivered to special and inclusive schools. The Mayor also instructed to set control over proper work of the system of electronic queues in kindergartens.
«Be attentive and consistent so that the children awaiting their turn be enrolled in kindergartens in time», stressed the Mayor.
Concerning the work of condominiums Taron Margaryan instructed to study their activity.
«The activity of condominiums must be transparent and controlled. It's the link which is in permanent feedback with the population and is obliged to render an account to the residents. Scrutinize the activity of condominiums and reveal all defects», stressed the Mayor.
Concerning the observation of applications and complaints received from residents the Mayor instructed to classify the problems in accordance with spheres which will make it possible to have better idea about the defects to be corrects first of all.
«Go on permanent control over the activity of hot lines.See to it that the problems raised by the citizens will get their solutions. Classify the problems in accordance with spheres as it will help reveal and correct the defects», emphasized Taron Margaryan.
Summarizing the results of the report the Mayor gave positive assessment to the activity of the department.
