Resolution on Students’ right protection in conflict zones, submitted by RPA Youth representative, was adopted unanimously at EDS Council Meeting

From 29 September to 2 October in Venice EDS Council Meeting on “Climate Change Challenges” was held.
Lilit Beglaryan, Anna Ohanyan and Arusyak Poghosyan represented the RPA Youth Organization.
At the course of the meeting besides thematic discussions several resolutions were submitted. Particularly, Anna Ohanyan, who had been elected Co-Chair of the EDS Committee on the Protection of Human Rights, submitted a resolution on Students’ right protection in conflict zones. It was adopted unanimously.
The resolution highlighted Students’ right of education in conflict zones, particularly in the Nagorno Karabakh Republic and Kosovo, called on the European Union and European Commission to support the higher education institutions of those areas and involve them in the Bologna Process, promote the mobility of students, create opportunities for exchange programs.
