Chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee of RPA Youth Organization Lilit Beglaryan finished her one-month stagiairership at the EPP Group of the European Parliament. The representative of RPA Youth Organization was invited by Robert Schuman Foundation.
At the course of the stagiaireship the RPA Youth representative participated in the Plenary Session, as well committee meetings. She held meetings with a number of EP representatives, including EPP Secretary-General Mr. Antonio Lopes-Isturiz, Deputy Secretary-General of EPP Group Mrs. Joanna Jarecka-Gomez, MEP Mr. Frank Engel, Former Chairman of the EP Committee on Foreign Affairs Mr. Elmar Brok, RA Ambassador to the Council of Europe Mr. Paruyr Hovhannisyan, Representative of the European Armenian Federation for Justice & Democracy (EAFJD) Mr. Bedo Demirdjian etc.
Current issues were discussed during meetings, particularly issues concerning current situation in Artsakh, Referendum held there, as well as policy led by Azerbaijan.
As Lilit Beglaryan mentioned it is a pleasure to meet people in such an organization, who are not afraid to call things by their proper name and who can duly appreciate events.
We should mention that participating in such kind of initiatives; RPA Youth organization continues deepening co-operation with EU structures.
