Born on 27 August 1939, village Elpin, Yeghegnadzor region.
1959-1961 – military service in Soviet Army.
1961-1966 – Armenian Agricultural Institute, Faculty of Agronomy.
1966-1974 - chief agronomist, director of Elpin state farm.
1974-1991 – party and executive positions.
1992-1997 - worked in social security bodies.
1985 - elected to USSR Supreme Council.
1990 – member of RA Supreme Council.
1997-1998 - head of Agricultural Department in Vayots Dzor Administration.
30 June 1998 - Vayots Dzor Regional Vice-Governor.
1981, 1986 - awarded with Medal of Honor.
1971 - PhD in Agriculture.
2001 - member of the Republican Party of Armenia.
9 March 2002 – member of RPA Vayots Dzor regional organization Council.
