Born on 4 December 1975.

1992-1997 - Yerevan State Economic University, Faculty of General Economics, Department of International Economics (Diploma in Economics).

2004 - Tufts University (USA, Boston, MA), Fletcher School, a special intensive course on Economics.

Since 2005 – applicant of Yerevan State University for PhD degree in Economics.

2008-2013 – RA Deputy Minister of Finance.

Since 2013 First Deputy Chief of Staff of the President of the RA.

Since 2007 - lecturer at the French University in Armenia.
 

Since December 2006 - a member of the CIS Interstate Monetary Committee (Representative of RA).

2003 - head of Foreign Economic Relations Department, Monetary and Credit Policy Administration of the Central Bank of Armenia.

2002-2003 - senior specialist of the Analysis and Modeling Department, Monetary and Credit Policy Administration of the Central Bank of Armenia.

1999-2002 - specialist of Budgetary Relations Department, Monetary and Credit Policy Administration of the Central Bank of Armenia.

1997-1998 – military service in the Armed Forces of RA, BMP commander.

2011 – awarded with a commemorative medal of RA Prime Minister.

2011 – on the decree of RA President awarded with "Anania Shirakatsi" medal.

Fluent in Russian and English.

Author of a number of articles.

Married, has one child.
