Born on 25 September 1954 in Ijevan town of Tavoush marz.
In 1976 graduated from the architectural-construction faculty of the YPI, obtaining a qualification of an architect.
In 1976-1980 worked as a team leader at the architectural division of the Executive Committee of the Ijevan’s Regional Board.
In 1980-1988 worked as a head architect of Ijevan district.
In 1988-1990 worked as the head of department on construction and industry of the CPA Regional Board.
In 1991-1996 was elected and since then worked as the President of the Executive Committee of the Ijevan’s City Council.
In 1996-1999 was elected and since then worked as the Mayor of Ijevan.
Since 1999 works as a Governor of Tavoush.
Since 1996 is a member of Republican Party of Armenia.
In 1999 was elected the Chairman of the Board of the RPA Regional Organisation of Tavoush.
He is a member of RPA board.
Married, has two children.
