Born on 30 October 1967 in Martouni town.
In 1992 graduated from the therapeutics faculty of the YSMU.
In 2002 graduated from the Public Administration Academy of RA.
In 2004 finished the Moscow School of political researches under the Council of Europe.
In 1992-1994 was a clinical resident at the department of general surgery of YSMU.
In 1992-1997 was the Chairman of the Student Parliament of the YSMU.
In 1995-1999 was the Chairman of the Republican Council of Armenian Students.
In 1997-2001 was a post-graduate student at the department of general surgery of YSMU.
In 1999 was elected a deputy to the NA.
Since 2001 works as a lecturer at the public health and healthcare department of the YSMU.
Since 2004 works as a deputy of the executive director of the Social Investments Foundation of Armenia.
In 1999 established and since then manages the “Republican Centre for Scientific-educational and Creative Development” Non-governmental Organisation.
Since 1999 is a Member of Republican Party of Armenia.
In 2005, 17th of December was elected a member of RPA Board.
Married, has one child.
