Born on 6 December 1974 in Yerevan.
In 1997 graduated from the therapeutics department of the Yerevan State Medical University with honour,.
In 1999-2001 was a resident in the field of judicial medicine.
In 2001 continued his post-graduate study in the University after Alexander Hambolt in Germany by an exchange programme (DAAD). In 2003 accomplished his PhD thesis.
In 2000-2003 was a senior laboratory assistant at the department of judicial medicine at YSMU, in 2003-2006 - a post-graduate student, since 2006 – associate professor.
Was a Vice-chairman of the Student Council of the YSMU, a Chairman of the Club of Clinical Residents. Since 2004 is a Chairman of YSMU Student Council.
In 2005 was appointed an assistant to the Prime-minister of RA.
Since 2003 is a member of Republican Party of Armenia.
In 2005 was elected a Chairman of RPA Youth Organisation.
Married, has one child.
