Born on 17 April 1978 in Yerevan.
In 1999 graduated from the Armenian Agricultural Academy. In 1999-2001 entered the magistracy of the same institute of higher education and graduated it with honour, obtaining the master's degree in the mechanization of Agriculture.
Worked at the Nor Nork territorial department of the State Committee of the Real Estate Cadastre adjunct to the government, then was the deputy chief of the Agency of Administration of Bioresources of the Ministry of Environmental Protection of RA.
During public and political activity T. Margaryan took part in youth, political, cultural-educational scientific meetings, conferences and seminars, undertaken by different authoritative organizations, as well as held within the frames of the regional collaboration.
In 2005 entered the Moscow school of political researches on a competitive basis.
On 22 May 2005 was elected Chief of Avan community.
Since 1996 is a member of the Republican Party of Armenia.
Since 1998 is the Chairman of the Board of Avan territorial organization.
Since 2006 is a member of RPA board.
Married, has three children.
