Born in 1959 in Yerevan.
In 1982 graduated from the architectural-construction faculty of the Yerevan Polytechnic Institute, obtaining a qualification of a structural architect.
Since 1982 worked in several project institutes, having positions varying from engineer to head engineer of the project, a head of a division in the “Yerevan” scientific-experimental project bureau of the Executive Committee of the Yerevan City Board, a head of a division in the Department of Maintenance and Construction of units of “Dzoragyugh” Demography Centre of the Executive Committee of the Yerevan City Board, a head engineer at the “Hrazdan” Sport Complex, a head engineer of the “Urban Development” Public Closed Joint-stock Company, a head of division at the Urban Development State Inspection and a Deputy of the Head of the Inspection.
In 1986-1988 served in soviet army as a deputy of the commander of the company.
On 15 January 2002 by a Presidential Order was appointed a member of the Board of the Civil Service of RA.
Member of the Republican Party of Armenia.
On 17 December 2005 (9th convocation of the RPA) was elected a member of the Board of the RPA.
Married, has 2 children.
