RA Minister of Environmental Protection
Born November 7, 1961, in Tabatsghuri village, in Borzhomi Region of the Republic of Georgia.
In 1983 graduated from Yerevan Cattle-Breeding and Veterinary Institute.
In 1983 worked in Milk Factory of Yaroslavl as Machine operator.
In 1983-1985 served in Soviet Army.
In 1985-1990 worked in Hrazdan Milk Factory, as a worker, master, unit head, and chief engineer.
In 1990-1991 was Chairman of "Karandzav" Cooperative.
In 1991-1995 was Director of Charentzavan Bread Factory.
In 1995-1996 was Chairman of Executive Committee of the City Council of Charentzavan.
In 1996-1999 was Mayor of Charentzavan.
In 1995-2001 he was elected to the RA National Assembly.
Since 2001 has been the Minister of Environmental Protection of the RA.
Member of the Republican Party of Armenia.
On 17 December 2005 (9-th congress of RPA) was elected a member of RPA board.
