Serzh Sargsyan promises to provide citizens of Armenia with free-of-charge medical service in foreseebale future

Within the campaign Chairman of Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), President Serzh Sargsyan met with residents of Davtashen administrative unit. As Armenpress reports, Serzh Sargsyan attached high importance to the reforms to be implemented in the sphere of healthcare.

"In the sphere of healthcare our policy is aimed at prevention of deceases, creating healthy lifestyle, compulsive training of doctors. Through relevant mechanisms we will ensure right and early diagnosis of deceases and high-quality medical service," said Serzh Sargsyan. He informed that healthcare institutions will be equipped. There are up-to-date healthcare institutions already in 9 provinces, and the equipment process will go on. "We will have oncological centers in compliance with European standards," the president noted, adding that financial means for them already exist and planning works are underway.

Free-of-charge birth aid and medical service for children up to 7 years old will continue, which later will be applied in case of 12 and 18 year-old people. In foreseeable future citizens of Armenia will be provided with free medicals service. Serzh Sargsyan said that for the first time urgent cardiac surgery for Armenia's citizens will be ensured, which will help people to feel more ore less safe.
