361 NGOs support the Republican Party of Armenia

361 NGOs, which at various times cooperated with the Republican Party of Armenia, expressed their support to RPA on upcoming parliamentary elections. The letter represent the interests and problems of refugees, disabled people and ethnic minorities, as well as the interests of stakeholders involved in cultural, educational, sporting, social, agricultural, military-patriotic and other areas. Participants of the congress, aimed at expressing confidence in the Republican Party, introduced their objectives, activities and future projects. They see the solution to the existing in these areas problems in the party’s 20-year activity and in its election program. The leaders of public organizations that have declared their support to the Republican Party and presented their solutions to existing problems noted an apparent rise in these areas in recent years and stressed the importance of the party’s stable activity for their continuous development. In his speech RPA Deputy Chairman, head of RPA Campaign HQ Hovik Abrahamyan highlighted the importance of the mission of public organizations and said that the Republican Party having a majority in the next parliament will continue to actively cooperate with the civil sector and will include in its program the issues and questions raised at the Congress.
361 NGOs participating in the Congress called upon all political and public forces involved in forthcoming elections to unite their efforts in running free, fair and transparent elections in line with international democratic standards. In their statement they also urged the Republican Party to continue to pay an intense attention to the issues concerning the civil society development, through increasing the role and importance of NGOs in the development of our country.
