Debates of the Annual Report on 2011 RA State Budget Execution Continue in the NA Standing Committees

On September 27 at the joint sitting of the RA NA Standing Committees on Protection of Human Rights and Public Affairs and Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs moderated by Elinar Vardanyan and Gagik Minasyan the report on the use of financial means allocated to the Staff of the RA Ombudsman in 2011 and the fulfilled programmes were debated.

The RA Deputy Finance Minister, Chief Treasurer Atom Janjughazyan, then the Acting Chief of Staff of the RA Ombudsman presented the financial means and directions of expenditure for the deputies’ debate.

On the same day at the joint sitting of the RA NA Standing Committees on Foreign Relations and Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs moderated by Artak Zakaryan and Gagik Minasyan the reports on the use of financial means allocated to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2011 were debated.

Atom Janjughazyan presented the general picture of budgetary allocations, and the Deputy Foreign Minister Shavarsh Kocharyan introduced the direction of the expenditures.

At the joint sitting of the RA NA Standing Committees on European Integration and Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs moderated by Naira Zohrabyan and Gagik Minasyan the problems concerning Armenia’s European Integration, the report on the use of financial means allocated to the sphere in 2011 were debated.

The RA Deputy Foreign Minister Ashot Hovakimyan presented the content of the fulfilled programmes. In his word the format of Armenia-European Union relationship has been enlarged, the political dialogues of high level have been activated and considerable progress has been recorded in the negotiations over Armenia-European Union Association Agreement, which started in July 2010. The Deputy Foreign Minister answered the deputies’ questions, which were relating to the dual citizenship, the principles of strategy elaboration of Armenia’s foreign policy and the organization of the work with the embassies.
