On October 16 the RA NA President Hovik Abrahamyan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the RA Ivan Kukhta.

Hovik Abrahamyan appreciated the high level of the inner state relations and highlighted the reinforcement of the inter-parliamentary relations, the cooperation in international organizations and the development of partnership in the spheres of science, education, trade and economy. It was noted that in November of this year the Inter-Governmental Meeting would be held in Yerevan.

The sides highlighted the enlivening of relations at different levels between the two countries, also touched upon other issues of mutual importance. Mr Kukhta presented to the NA President the inner-political situation before the parliamentary elections to be held on October 28.
