On February 25 on the initiative of the RA National Assembly and by the assistance the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Program Support to the RA National Assembly the event “Day of Civil Society Organizations (CSO) in the RA National Assembly” took place.

In the word of those responsible for the program, the goal of the event is to deepen already existing cooperation between the parliament and the civil societies.

The works relating to the spheres of the CSO consonant with the activity of the 12 Standing Committees of the National Assembly were presented at the event in the form of research materials, booklets and publications.

The President of the National Assembly Hovik Abrahamyan also got acquainted with the programs presented by a number of organizations. He took a tour with the deputies in the stands, talked with the representatives of different spheres, got interested with their problems and noted that the parliament would always be ready to support different initiatives, which would be useful for our country.
