 Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan received newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Argentina to the Republic of Armenia Gonzalo Urriolabeitia.

Congratulating the Ambassador on assuming the office, the Prime Minister wished him every success in his responsible mission. The Head of Government said that Armenia attaches great importance to the continuous development of friendly relations with Argentina and expressed confidence that in his capacity of Ambassador, Gonzalo Urriolabeitia will give a new dimension to the furtherance of comprehensive relationship between the two countries.

Gonzalo Uriolabeitia considered it a great honor for him to represent Argentina in friendly Armenia and assured that as Ambassador he would spare no effort to build on the current achievements and deepen Armenia-Argentina cooperation in different fields of activity.

The Prime Minister highly appreciated the ongoing political dialogue between the two countries and thanked the authorities of Argentina for the attitude shown to the Armenian community.

Mindful of the need to expand bilateral trade and economic ties and increase trade turnover, on behalf of the Government of Armenia Hovik Abrahamyan expressed readiness to back any effort to that effect.
