Parliament Continues the Work of the Four-day Sittings

On October 6 the RA National Assembly continued the work of the four-day sittings, by voting passing the legislative initiatives debated on the previous day, ratifying the Loan Agreement Municipal Lighting Project of Yerevan signed between the RA and European Bank for Reconstruction and Development on May 11, 2015.
The deputies welcomed the students of Yerevan Valery Brusov State University Languages and Social Sciences and the lecturers, who visited the parliament within the framework of the NA Open Doors programme .
The parliament continued debating the report of the implementation of the Monetary Credit Policy Programme of the RA CB for 2014.
Mher Shahgeldyan presented the viewpoint of the Rule of Law Faction on the document.
In his final speech Nerses Yeritsyan touched upon the interpellations sounded in the speeches.
The deputies addressed numerous questions to the key speaker Nerses Yeritsyan, which related to covering the loans, various risks, demand of the credits, the citizens’ financial knowledge, the protection of the consumers’ interests, inflation, dollar-dram currency, etc
The RA First Minister of Finance Pavel Safaryan delivered a speech on the programme.
The Chairman of the NA Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs Gagik Minasyan presented the endorsement of the Committee on the pogramme.
The deputies Tigran Urikhanyan, Nikol Pashinyan, Artashes Geghamyan and Hovhannes Margaryan presented their viewpoints on the programme.
In accordance with the law the NA Rules of Procedure, the last sitting was allotted to the deputies' announcements.
