Prime Minister Welcomes Newly Appointed Belarus Ambassador

 Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan received newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Armenia Igor Nazaruk.

The Prime Minister congratulated Igor Nazaruk on assuming the office of ambassador and wished him every success in his diplomatic mission. Highly appreciative of the Armenian-Belarusian interstate relations, the Premier expressed confidence that Igor Nazaruk would help strengthen and deepen interaction in political, economic, humanitarian and other spheres.

Thankful for the reception, the newly appointed Belarus Ambassador assured that he would make every effort to expand cooperation and bilateral ties in different fields of activity.

The parties took the opportunity to discuss issues related to Armenian-Belarusian economic relations, the possibility of making a better use of existing potentialities and the prospects of cooperation on the sidelines of the Eurasian Economic Union. In this context, they noted the importance of the Armenian-Belarusian Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Affairs.
