 Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan, the RA Minister of Finances Gagik Khachatryan,the head of Yerevan office of the EBRD Mark Davis and the manager of the Eastern Europe Energy Efficiency and Environmental Partnership Foundation Anders Lund signed the grant treaty ''The program of Yerevan city lighting'' according to which the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development disburses the grant of 1 million 900 thousand euro to the Republic of Armenia from the E5P Foundation. The main goal of the program is to install in Yerevan the energy saving and safe external lighting system. The program provides for repacement of electricity pillars, installation of underground cables, using of energy saving lamps as well as operation of automatic control system in 28 streets of the capital.
