15.02.2016

Chaired by Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan, a consultation on draft tax code-stipulated amendments was held in the Office of Government, attended by representatives from the government agencies concerned.

“We are proceeding to a detailed discussion of the draft tax code in the Office of Government. All the departments were instructed last year to discuss the new tax code with businesses featuring the relevant sectors and the public-at-large, focusing on its eventual impact on economic growth and budget receipts so that we could submit a final draft to the National Assembly,” the Premier said.

The meeting reviewed the proposed changes concerning some types of taxes and the findings of those surveys conducted in advance.

The Prime Minister told the heads of department responsible for the amendment to continue eith the per-sector discussions and come up with a detailed analysis of the possible impact of legislative changes.
