On the initiative of the Women’s Council of Ararat region events are held dedicated to the Family Day

On the initiative of the Women’s Council of Ararat region at cultural and educational establishments of the region comprehensive events are held on the occasion of the Family Day.
On 12 May at Artashat State Drama Theater named after A. Kharazyan RPA Women’s Council organized an event on “Motherland begins with the family”.
At the course of the event post cards made by the pupils were represented. The pupils presented their ideas on a family through the post cards.
Several non-governmental organizations, members of the families of the heroes killed in Nagorno-Karabakh war also participated in the regional event.
The event was concluded on 14 May at RPA territorial office, where an exhibition of post cards, made by the pupils, was held. The best 1000 works were represented at the exhibition.
The Women’s Council of Vedi especially highlighted the seminar on “Parents’ University”, organized in Aralez School. In Masis the events were held on the theme “Family is a source of love, respect, tolerance, which form the Armenian society”.
The event was attended by the Chairman of RPA Women’s Council, the RA NA Vice-Speaker H. Naghdalyan, the NA Deputies K. Poghosyan, R. Muradyan, Members of RPA Women’s Council, the Women’s Councils of Ararat territorial organization and other guests.
